What Biden Promised to Zelensky

U.S. President Joe Biden promised to supply Ukraine with Patriot missile batteries during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. This is reported by Interfax.

It is noteworthy that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived at the White House on Wednesday to meet with his American counterpart Joe Biden.

“We will continue to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities, especially air defense, so we are prepared to supply Ukraine with Patriot missile systems,” said Biden.

The White House chief added that the U.S. would train Ukrainian military personnel to use such weaponry. During his visit to the U.S., Zelensky also addressed the U.S. Congress. While presenting the Ukrainian flag from Bakhmut to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Zelensky received an American flag in return and hinted that there is a need for more artillery, as well as tanks, aircraft, and financial assistance.
