Was Violence Used Against the Tavush Governor? - 'Joghovurd'

According to information from the 'Joghovurd' newspaper, a notable incident has occurred involving Tavush Governor Hayk Ghalumyan and the head of Tavush's forestry department, Mher Ghaltakhchyan. Reports circulating in the region indicate that on November 25 of this year, the governor and the head of the forestry department witnessed a theft in one of the forests and decided to pursue the alleged criminal.

According to the same reports, they chased after a 'Gaz 66' vehicle that was supposedly stealing from the forest, loaded with stolen timber. The driver of the vehicle, realizing that he was being pursued, drove quickly and fell into a gorge, resulting in the death of Norayr Mirzoyan, the driver from Ghandzakar.

However, this unfortunate story did not end there. Residents of Tavush reported that the family of the deceased, upon learning of their relative's death, came to demand accountability from the governor and the forestry director, which led to a scuffle. According to the residents of Tavush, violence was used against Governor Hayk Ghalumyan and head of the forestry department Mher Ghaltakhchyan.
