Elon Musk: 'I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job.'
The new owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, has agreed to the results of a user poll and announced that he will step down from his position as CEO. However, this will happen only after he finds a successor.
"I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job. After that, I will only oversee the software and server teams," he wrote in a comment on his organized poll.
Musk had invited users last Sunday to respond to the question of whether he should continue to lead the social media platform he purchased. He promised to do what the online community decides.
A total of 17.5 million users participated in the poll. As a result, the majority of respondents, 57.5%, voted in favor of Musk stepping down from managing Twitter's policies.
