«At Least Don’t Turn Relations with Artsakh into Financial Ones, You are from Artsakh» - Manukyan to Grigoryan

During an extraordinary session of the National Assembly, Gegham Manukyan, a member of the "Armenia" faction, questioned the Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, about whether he still insists that Armenia continues to be the guarantor of Artsakh's security. In response, Grigoryan stated, "It's not just about words, it's proven by actions and the government has proven this through actions. Last year we provided nearly 200 billion in financial support, which addresses not only socio-economic but also security issues. There can be no second opinion on this."

Reacting to Grigoryan, Manukyan insisted that the government has turned relations with Artsakh into financial interactions. "For you, this has become a matter of program – land for money. When we talk about Artsakh, you say we are providing money, we are providing money. At least don’t turn relations with Artsakh into financial ones; you are from Artsakh. The money is given because Artsakh has been devastated, the money is given as a ransom for people to remain silent," said Manukyan.
