According to My Information, Peacekeepers Did Not Deliver Humanitarian Aid: Beglaryan on Recently Passed Trucks in Lachin

According to my information, the cargo transported by trucks was not humanitarian aid for the people of Artsakh, but was for the needs of the Russian peacekeepers. This was stated today, December 19, during a conversation with reporters by Artak Beglaryan, an advisor to the Prime Minister of Artsakh, who has declared an indefinite sit-in in front of the UN office for several days.

“I ask you to further clarify this information with the Artsakh government and the Russian peacekeepers, but the fact that the Azerbaijani side is trying to present that the people of Artsakh do not have humanitarian needs and that the supply is being carried out properly, including through the peacekeepers, is an absolute lie. There is a humanitarian disaster there. Yes, that disaster is deepening day by day, and the trend is very negative,” he said.

It should be noted that Azerbaijani 'environmentalists' have closed the road since December 12. Initially, they claimed that mining operations in the area under the responsibility of Russian peacekeepers are 'illegal' and that their corresponding 'specialists' should be allowed to visit the exploitation sites and conduct constant monitoring. However, now they are demanding to establish an Azerbaijani checkpoint in the Lachin corridor.
