Pashinyan Holds Serious Conversation About Artsakh

According to the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper, it had warned 20 days ago that Artsakh might be at risk of becoming an enclave. Unfortunately, today our information has become a reality, and our over 120,000 citizens in Artsakh have been trapped for the fourth consecutive day and are facing a humanitarian disaster. Azerbaijan is also obstructing gas supplies, and Artsakh has been without gas for three days now.

Additionally, about 20 days ago, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a serious conversation with his team about the dangers looming over Artsakh, expressing his frustration that Armenia has been left alone in this situation, and if Azerbaijan suddenly decides to provoke, it is unclear what will happen.

We asked ruling party MP Vigen Khachatryan to comment on what they discussed with Prime Minister Pashinyan about 20 days ago. "I can hardly remember the details right now, but Azerbaijan's behavior was expected; we must be prepared for such events," he noted.

"Our question is precisely about that—knowing the impending dangers, what preventive measures has the government taken?" we asked the ruling party MP more pointedly, to which he responded, "Have you carefully followed the trips of Armenian officials to various capitals and cities around the world? What are those trips for? They are not tourists, are they? Or the visits of the Defense Minister, the head of the Security Council to different countries..."

Perhaps the events and processes speak for themselves and indicate what Armenian officials have been doing 'in the capitals of the world,' whether they presented the threats facing Armenia, or if they participated in various 'tours' as tourists.

The fact is that for the fourth day in a row, there is a looming threat of genocide over our compatriots in Artsakh, and yet the few 'capitals of the world' are not doing anything to prevent this potential crime, apart from just 'calling out'.
