Saghatelyan Proposes Urgent Action Plan and Calls for Gathering
For more than 24 hours, 120,000 of our compatriots in Artsakh have been under blockade. This was stated by MP Ishkhan Saghatelyan.
He specifically wrote: “I want to inform you that since yesterday, the worldwide offices of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) have been engaged in presenting Azerbaijan's genocidal actions to the international community.
Regarding the situation, the National Assembly of Artsakh has convened an extraordinary session today and has issued a call to the entire Armenian community, urging to utilize all means to raise awareness about the humanitarian disaster created by Azerbaijan in Artsakh, stand firm in protecting the rights of the Artsakh Armenians, and be ready for necessary actions in that direction.
Therefore, the following urgent actions are planned for the near future:
- Protests in front of Azerbaijani and Turkish embassies in various countries.
- Protests near international representations in Armenia. Today, December 12, we will gather in front of the UN representation at 16:00. Afterward, we will send letters to the embassies of France, Russia, and the USA.
- An extraordinary session of the National Assembly of Armenia to adopt a statement condemning Azerbaijan's genocidal actions.
