Video: Participants of the Protest Have Returned to Renaissance Square

Participants of the protest against the closure of the Lachin Corridor have met with Stepanakert Mayor Davit Sargsyan. The city hall is also expected to join the demonstrators. This was announced during a live Facebook broadcast by protest participant Arshak Abrahamyan.

“Citizens continue to gather at Renaissance Square; some of those who were at the Shushi checkpoint have also returned to Renaissance Square to join our rally,” he said.

As previously reported, a group of Azerbaijani fake environmentalists shut down the Stepanakert-Goris highway again around 10:30 this morning. The Lachin Corridor has now been closed for more than six hours.

The residents of Artsakh spontaneously gathered at Renaissance Square in Stepanakert and then proceeded to the Stepanakert-Goris highway to open the road. They have returned to Renaissance Square to discuss their future actions.
