VIDEO: The Situation is Serious, I Do Not Hide it - Ruben Vardanyan
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, Ruben Vardanyan, along with the leaders of all factions of the National Assembly, has continued a series of meetings in the regions. Today, they held a meeting in the city of Askeran. This was reported by the press service of the Artsakh government.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister and the faction leaders listened to the concerns of the residents of Askeran, answered their questions related to the security of Artsakh, organizing their lives under the conditions of the Azerbaijani blockade, the importance of unity and cohesion, as well as the principles of justice and transparency in the current situation.
The Prime Minister noted that justice and transparency are the very principles that the government adheres to. “We have established rules of the game that are the same for everyone—regardless of whether one is an official, wealthy, fought for the homeland, or an ordinary citizen. Those who have served the homeland certainly deserve respect. But the law applies to everyone. It is very important for people to truly feel that we are all together and that we all must be in equal conditions,” emphasized the Prime Minister.
A question was also raised regarding the inadequate attention and indifference of mother Armenia towards the fate of Artsakh. The participants of the meeting were also interested in the steps being taken to find a way out of the situation. Ruben Vardanyan considered indifference to be the most dangerous phenomenon, while keeping Artsakh Armenian is a matter of dignity for the entire Armenian nation. “We must do everything to ensure that Artsakh is independent, Armenian, and that we have a secure future. We will do whatever is possible to achieve that goal. Let's understand that our only objective is to protect Artsakh, to create ways to exit this situation. For this, we are working with the UN, France, the United States, and Russia. We must use all means and instruments to achieve our most important goal of preserving and developing Artsakh,” he stated.
The participants of the meeting also assured that they are united and ready to fight for their vital right to live in Artsakh without panic and without retreating in the face of difficulties. They also expressed their support for the idea of holding a nationwide rally.
