Azerbaijani authorities are carrying out well-planned provocative actions. Their goal is to create tension in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was stated by Andranik Kocharyan, the chairman of the parliamentary permanent committee on defense and security, and a member of the ruling 'Civil Contract' faction, during traditional briefings in the National Assembly on December 12, while commenting on the provocative actions of Azerbaijani 'environmentalists.'

The parliament member is convinced that the Azerbaijani authorities hope that this tension will also transfer to Armenia. In this regard, he hastened to call for maintaining composure. 'Our objectives remain unchanged. This concerns the safe life of our compatriots living in Karabakh and the creation of a secure environment in the joint security zone of Armenia and Karabakh,' said Kocharyan.

According to the parliamentarian, Azerbaijan must finally understand that by such steps and actions, they are forcing Karabakh and Armenia to prioritize their security environment. 'They are accelerating our process of examining their own mistakes,' noted the ruling party member.
