The Only Road Connecting Artsakh to Armenia Remains Closed for 9 Hours, Says Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs
The only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia and the world has remained closed for 9 hours. This was announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh.
“Hundreds of citizens traveling from Armenia to Artsakh are temporarily stranded in Goris. Since this morning, citizens traveling from Artsakh to Armenia have found themselves in an indefinite and waiting situation. The transport links between the villages of Lisagor, Mets Shen, Hin Shen, and Yeghtsahogh in the Shushi region and the capital Stepanakert have been interrupted.
Additional information regarding the developments will be provided. It is worth noting that today, at around 10:30 AM, a group of Azerbaijani individuals in civilian clothing, again citing environmental reasons, blocked the Stepanakert-Goris highway,” the statement said.
