Proposal to Extend the Detention of Lawyer Erik Aleksanyan Submitted

A proposal to extend the detention period for lawyer Erik Aleksanyan has been submitted to the court. This was reported to the media by his attorney, Zorayr Harutyunyan.

The court hearing is scheduled for December 15.

It is noteworthy that the lawyer is accused of assisting in the unauthorized exercise of powers by a public official. Judge Arusyak Aleksanyan of the Ajapnyak residence is also a defendant in the case and has been detained. The attorney for the judge has also indicated that a request to extend the judge's detention period has been submitted.
