Fog, Snow, Closed Roads: Ministry of Emergency Situations Issues Warning

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that there are closed roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to the Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari are closed.

Fog is present in the Vardenyats Pass, on the Lanjik-Mastara road, and in the high-altitude regions of Syunik Province.

Snow is falling in the city of Aparan.

According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations' crisis management center in North Ossetia regarding the Lars situation, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
