Narek Sargsyan, Son of Serzh Sargsyan's Brother, Not in Prison but in VIP Room of 'Izmirlian' Medical Center

Representatives and supporters of the 'National People’s Bloc' held another gathering yesterday, December 6, starting at 18:00. They have been continuously assembling on Northern Avenue, staging a sit-in demanding the transfer of the detained Varuzhan Avetisyan to a civilian hospital.

However, the December 6 march did not last long, as the police intervened and began detaining participants of the demonstration, according to reports from Hraparak.

After the police actions, representatives addressed the incident live, asserting that Narek Sargsyan, son of Alexander Sargsyan, brother of the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, has not been in prison for a significant time but instead in a VIP room at the 'Izmirlian' Medical Center, which they claimed has been converted into a lounge area. They noted that dinner parties have been regularly organized there, among other activities.

According to Herminee Mkrtchyan from the Bloc, they have learned that this morning Narek Sargsyan has been transferred to a penitentiary.
