The head coach of the Spanish national team, Luis Enrique, has apologized to fans for the loss to Morocco in the Round of 16 of the 2022 World Cup. Spain has been eliminated from the tournament.

“I apologize to the supporters of the Spanish national team, as they backed us very well and were concerned for us. We dedicated ourselves completely. We can only congratulate Morocco. Now is not the time to talk about my future. I believe we will meet next week and discuss my future. I am the only one responsible for this loss,” said Enrique.
