Car Falls from Bridge in Yerevan

A car has fallen from a bridge in the Silikian neighborhood of Yerevan, resulting in one person being injured. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia reports this information.

According to the announcement, the Crisis Management National Center received a call regarding the incident on December 3 at 18:52. Two firefighting units from the Yerevan Rescue Service were dispatched to the scene.

It was found that a 'Lexus NX 300' car (driver: M. Kh., born in 1978) had left the roadway at the beginning of the Silikian new highway and ended up at the bottom of the bridge, with the driver trapped inside the vehicle.

Rescuers disconnected the car's power, closed the gas valve, and extricated M. Kh. from the vehicle with the help of special equipment, bringing him closer to the ambulance. The injured person was hospitalized at the 'Armenia' medical center, where doctors assessed his health condition as extremely severe.
