76-Year-Old Man Removes His Sleeping Son's Fingers with an Axe
On December 2, at 3:20 PM, a woman called the police to report that her father-in-law had attacked her and her husband with an axe, causing bodily harm, and that her husband had lost a finger.
The police operational group from the Masis division arrived at the scene, which was one of the houses in the village of Argavand. The 40-year-old woman reported that her 76-year-old father-in-law, without any justified reason, had struck and severed two fingers from her son’s hand while he was sleeping, and then hit him on the head with the blunt end of the axe, causing bodily injury.
According to the medical report, the 40-year-old man is unable to provide a statement.
The 76-year-old man has been taken to the Masis police station. He has been arrested and presented to the Masis investigative division. A criminal case has been initiated.
