Putin Holds Security Council Meeting: Topics Discussed Revealed
Russian President Vladimir Putin has raised the issue of preparing personnel for ensuring the country's information security during an operational meeting with members of the Security Council. He also addressed socio-economic and international issues. This was announced by the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, as reported by Interfax.
“Putin held an operational consultation with permanent members of the Security Council. The main focus was on the theme of personnel training for ensuring the information security of the Russian Federation,” clarified the Kremlin spokesperson, adding that the meeting also discussed matters related to Russia's socio-economic development and international issues.
In the previous meeting, Putin discussed the work of Russia's delegation at the G20 summit as well as the meeting between the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin, and the CIA Director, William Burns.
