Production of Dangerous Meat Products Suspended

During supervisory measures conducted by the Food Safety Inspection Body in Yerevan, samples were taken from the meat products manufactured by Azaria LLC, specifically from the product line of the "Karavan" brand, including "Beef Cutlet", "Ishli Kufta", and "Khinkali Mince". This information was reported by the inspection authority.

According to the results of laboratory tests, it was found that the "Beef Cutlet" product exhibited non-compliance with the established norms of the Eurasian Customs Union's technical regulations, showing traces of MAFAM (mesophilic aerobic facultative anaerobic bacteria) and E. coli group bacteria, while the "Ishli Kufta" product showed non-compliance with E. coli standards. Additionally, the "Khinkali Mince" was found to have MAFAM, E. coli, and salmonella indicators that did not meet the required standards.

As a result, certain operations of Azaria LLC (located in Yerevan, Norq-Maras) have been suspended until the producer takes the necessary measures to ensure that the aforementioned products comply with the requirements established by legal acts.
