We have coordinated the operation in Northern Syria with Russia: Kalin

Ankara has coordinated its actions with Moscow during the air operation in Northern Syria and Iraq, Turkish Presidential Representative Ibrahim Kalin announced on Tuesday. The information was reported by RIA Novosti.

"These issues are being discussed regarding our plans to carry out air force operations. How we entered the airspace of Tal Rifaat has been discussed (with the Russian Federation - ed.), we coordinated our actions. We are planning, discussing, coordinating, and acting," Kalin said in an interview with A Haber television.

It should be recalled that Turkey has been conducting an air operation since November 20 against the Syrian wing of the banned Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Northern Syria.
