Yerevan Lake Water Completely Lowered, Revealing Accumulated Waste: Samvel Pipoyan

Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Samvel Pipoyan has shared photographs on his Facebook page and commented: “Once again about Yerevan Lake. Currently, the water level of the lake has dropped completely for reasons unknown to me. As a result, the shores of the reservoir have opened up, revealing the accumulated household and other waste.

I believe this is an opportunity that should not be missed, and waste should be quickly collected from the shores of the reservoir before new water accumulation occurs. It would be highly desirable for this to be carried out by the municipality using technical means, which would make the cleaning efforts more efficient. Naturally, volunteer participation is also encouraged.”
