MP Gevorg Papoyan on the Accident Involving His Service Car in Dilijan
In the town of Dilijan, Tavush province, the service car of MP Gevorg Papoyan from the "My Step" faction has been involved in an accident, resulting in one injury. This information was reported by Shamshyan.com.
According to the report, around 00:15 today, a 34-year-old resident of Yerevan, Robert K., was driving his "Toyota Camry" with the license plate 016 HH 01 when, under unknown circumstances, he veered off the road on Kalinini Street in Dilijan and crashed into a tree.
It is noted that the vehicle is registered to the National Assembly of Armenia and serves MP Gevorg Papoyan, the chairman of the Financial and Budgetary Affairs Standing Committee of the National Assembly.
The driver was subjected to a sobriety test on the spot, which revealed he was sober.
Auroranews contacted MP Gevorg Papoyan, who stated that he was in the car at the time of the accident. “We didn’t understand what happened; maybe the road was icy; it was unexpected. Fortunately, nothing serious occurred; the driver was injured, and the car was damaged, but I am fine,” said the MP.
