How a Man Mistook and Killed an Armenian Young Man in Moscow
Details about the execution of an Armenian young man in northern Moscow have emerged. The suspect, who was apprehended shortly after the incident, told police that he shot the wrong person. This was reported by Mk.ru.
It is noted that on November 24, around 18:30, a resident of a high-rise building on Solnechnogorskaya Street noticed on her surveillance system that a tenant of one of the second-floor apartments, named Ashot (name changed), approached the entrance door. At that moment, an unknown man wearing a hat attacked him from behind and began to beat him.
The attacker shouted that he would kill him, followed by about 7 gunshots, after which the assailant calmly left the scene. Doctors and police found Ashot bleeding at the entrance. The young man was diagnosed with multiple injuries to the head, chest, and abdomen. He was conscious but could not explain anything due to shock. He was urgently taken to the hospital, where he underwent surgery.
Investigators at the scene discovered a traumatic pistol, along with two magazines, 7 bullets, and 2 rubber bullets. Detectives quickly reviewed the security camera footage and arrested the suspect. It turned out that he is a 45-year-old resident of the Caucasus region. The arrested man told police that he had mistaken the victim, believing that another person should have been in that place. The police are now trying to determine who the man truly intended to attack and for what reason.
