Heavy Rains in Italy Cause Massive Landslide
Heavy rains on the Italian island of Ischia have triggered a massive landslide in the town of Casamicciola, resulting in the disappearance of four people, including a newborn. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
According to preliminary information, a residential house has been buried under the landslide, which was home to a family of three and a 25-year-old woman. Firefighters and civil protection services are currently working at the scene.
Rescue efforts have successfully saved a man who had found himself caught in the mudflow.
