Emergency Ministry Reports on Fire in Dilijan National Park

On November 25, at 05:40, operational groups from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Regional Rescue Department arrived at the scene to resume firefighting operations in the Dilijan National Park.

Firefighting efforts involve 36 rescuers, 15 servicemen from Unit N, 10 employees of the Dilijan National Park, and one water tender has been engaged.

The fire was contained at 15:53. At the scene, Deputy Director of the Emergency Situations Ministry Colonel T. Petrosyan was present.

On November 24, at 11:51, a call was received at the Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center regarding a fire that had broken out near the firing range of Unit N in Dilijan.

Three firefighting teams from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Regional Rescue Department were sent to the scene. Firefighting efforts were temporarily suspended due to darkness and complex terrain, and a duty roster was established by rescuers and staff from the Dilijan National Park.

Firefighting operations involved 25 rescuers and 15 employees from the Dilijan National Park.
