Spokesperson of Artsakh President on Offering Positions to Vardan Oskanian or Ara Aivazyan
The spokesperson for the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Lusine Avanesyan, responding to rumors regarding the candidacies of Vardan Oskanian and Ara Aivazyan for the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs in Artsakh, stated that the president has not made such an offer to lead the foreign affairs department, and there is currently no such issue on the agenda.
“David Babayan continues to perform the duties of Minister of Foreign Affairs as an interim appointee. The president has not made an offer to Vardan Oskanian or Ara Aivazyan to lead the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh, and there is no such issue on the agenda at this time. Decrees regarding the appointments of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and other ministers will be published after a clear decision is made,” said the spokesperson for the President of the Republic of Artsakh.
Earlier, media reports had circulated that the candidacies of Vardan Oskanian and Ara Aivazyan were being considered for the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh.
