Armenian Citizens Should Travel to EU Countries Without Schengen Visa - Marukyan

Special Envoy Edmond Marukyan expressed hope on his Twitter microblog that Armenian citizens will be able to travel to EU countries without a Schengen visa starting from 2023.

“Today marks the 5th anniversary of the signing of the CEPA agreement. It is time for the EU to make a decision regarding the liberalization of entry for Armenian citizens into Schengen zone countries. Armenian citizens should be able to travel to EU countries without a Schengen visa. Armenia has earned this right through its reforms. I hope that due to our efforts, we will also reach this important milestone in 2023,” he stated.
