VIDEO: First Footage of Explosions in Jerusalem and Details
Two powerful explosions occurred in Jerusalem, resulting in casualties and injuries. According to TASS agency, citing the Kan radio station, the incidents took place in the morning on November 23rd around 7:00 AM local time. The first footage of the explosion has already been released online.
Preliminary reports indicate that one of the explosions happened near a bus stop, triggered by an explosive device hidden in a bag. According to Israeli media, it was placed on a scooter parked near the stop. Shortly after the first explosion, another report was received about a second explosion that occurred at the Ramot intersection in Jerusalem. The causes of the explosions are under investigation. The Jerusalem Post has reported that several theories regarding the incident are being considered, including the possibility of a coordinated terrorist attack.
It has been reported that 11 civilians were injured in the first explosion, while 3 were injured in the second one. Police forces are working at the scene. Later reports confirmed the death of one of the injured. The latest data indicates that the number of injured has reached 18, with two individuals in critical condition.
