Will a Maximum Price Be Set for Monthly Gas Futures? Proposal

The European Commission (EC) has made a proposal to set a price cap for monthly gas futures based on the TTF central index. This information was shared by RIA Novosti, referencing the words of Kadri Simson, the European Commissioner for Energy.

According to the EC, the gas price should not exceed 275 euros per megawatt/hour, and as Simson stated, "transactions cannot proceed above this price."
