Lionel Messi: 'This is my last chance to realize my dream'

Argentina national team forward Lionel Messi has shared his expectations for the upcoming 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

“This will probably be my last World Cup. I feel good, I have arrived in excellent physical condition. I have taken care of myself throughout my career, and at my last World Cup, I have one last opportunity to realize my great dream. You always have to try, no matter what, rather than back down and think about what could be,” Marca quotes Messi.

This will be Messi's fifth World Cup. In 2014, he became the runner-up with Argentina, losing to Germany in the final.

In Group C, Argentina will play against Saudi Arabia (November 22), Mexico (November 26), and Poland (November 30).
