Fireworks Prohibited in Yerevan: Exceptions Allowed in Certain Cases

Member of the Yerevan City Council, Ashot Sargsyan, has announced the ban on fireworks in Yerevan via his Facebook page.

“Today, the council decided to ban fireworks in Yerevan, with the exception of Republic Square and Freedom Square, where they can only take place during events organized by the Government or the City Hall, and only by licensed organizations,” he wrote.

The council member mentioned that the initiative was presented by Tigran Avinyan.
