Vahagn Vermishyani's Health Deteriorates, Ambulance Called to Prison

Vahagn Vermishyan's health has deteriorated in prison, prompting the emergency medical team to respond at the correctional facility. This was reported to ArmLur.am by his lawyer, Aleksandr Kochubayev.

It is noteworthy that Vahagn Vermishyan has been charged with receiving a particularly large bribe. He was arrested on February 5, 2020. Among those involved in Vermishyan's case is the former head of the Yerevan Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee, John Farkhoyan. The National Security Service submitted a request to the court for his detention, which was also approved. However, Farkhoyan's defense team subsequently petitioned for his release on bail. The court granted their request, and Farkhoyan has been released.
