Attempt to Set Fire to the House of a Man Who Killed a Woman and Her Children in Pemzashen; 5 Women Taken to Police

Reports have emerged that yesterday, community police officers of the Musht district of the police in Gyumri prevented an attack on a house located on 7th Street of the village of Pemzashen in the Shirak region.

The police were on heightened duty in the vicinity of the mentioned house when around 19:30 they noticed that several women had approached the house, one of whom broke a window with a metal rod. However, the police managed to halt any further actions by the women.

It has been noted that one of them was carrying a 1-liter bottle filled with gasoline, which she intended to use to set the house on fire.

Auroranews contacted the head of the media relations and analysis department of the police, who confirmed the information during our conversation. He mentioned that five individuals were summoned to the police station. The police reported that they broke the window of the house, after which they were invited to the station and presented to the Investigative Committee.
