All Parties Will Soon Witness Turkey's Actions: Erdogan
Turkey may not limit its actions solely to airstrikes against Kurdish positions in northern Syria, but could also initiate ground operations against them. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made this announcement. According to Interfax, Erdogan stated, "There can be no guarantee that this operation will be exclusively aerial." He emphasized that Turkey does not inform the U.S. or Russia about its plans to conduct military strikes in Syria and Iraq, and Ankara will continue this approach in the future.
Erdogan underscored that "Turkey decides for itself what steps to take." He added, "All parties will soon witness Turkey's new significant actions." Today, it was reported that Turkish Air Force jets struck towards an American military base located in Al-Hasakah, Syria. This was reported on November 21 by the Iranian IRNA agency, referring to Turkish media.
It is noted that the American forces under attack are responsible for training members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which is recognized as a terrorist organization in Turkey. There is currently no official confirmation or comment on the matter.
