14% Economic Growth Recorded in Armenia During Wartime, What Have You Done? Vashadze Asks Prime Minister

During a Q&A session in the Georgian Parliament today, opposition leader of the "Strategy Aghmashenebeli" party, Gocha Vashadze, criticized the government's policies following Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili's speech. He stated, "14% economic growth has been recorded in Armenia during wartime, while what have you done? By how many percent have you stimulated the economy?" according to Aliq.ge.

The former ally of ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili emphasized that pensions and salaries in Georgia had been raised prior to the change of government in 2012. "Before 2012, pensions were increased tenfold; how many times have you raised them? Do you know how much a soldier earns? Perhaps less than what your coffee maker takes home. Currently, those in justice courts earn 1000 lari, but it could have been 3000-4000 had your government not been in power," the MP added.
