Terrorists Involved in Attack in Iran Arrested While Attempting to Escape to Azerbaijan

The Secretary of the Expediency Council, Mohsen Rezaei, announced that three individuals involved in a terrorist attack in the city of Izah were arrested while trying to flee the country across the border into Azerbaijan. This information was reported by Iranian media.

It is noteworthy that the coordinator and organizer of a recent terrorist attack in Shiraz was a citizen of Azerbaijan.

On November 16, in the city of Izah (Khuzestan province), the terrorists opened fire on police officers and civilians. As a result of the attack, at least 15 people were killed and injured.
