Swedish Prosecutor's Office Confirms Diversion Evidence in Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 Pipelines

The Swedish Prosecutor's Office has confirmed evidence of a diversion in the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 pipelines. This has been reported by Reuters and transmitted by Moskva24. According to the agency, remnants of explosives have been found near the pipelines.

At the same time, the Swedish Security Service documented significant damage caused by the explosions while examining the site. Additionally, the agency discovered foreign objects within the Nord Stream pipeline, some of which showed traces of explosives.

It is worth recalling that two powerful underwater explosions were recorded during gas leaks from the Nord Stream and Nord Stream-2 pipelines.

The Nord Stream 2 AG company reported that an emergency occurred in one of the lines of Nord Stream 2, which has not been put into operation due to sanctions against Russia and was filled with technical gas. This incident was accompanied by a sharp drop in pressure in Danish waters.

Simultaneously, Nord Stream AG announced a decrease in pressure in both lines of Nord Stream, which had been suspended since the end of August but was still filled with gas. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov did not rule out that a diversion could have been the cause of the emergency incident in the pipeline.
