Another Member of Criminal Subculture Group Arrested
In the framework of a criminal case being investigated by the Main Investigation Department of Particularly Important Cases of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, large-scale investigative actions and necessary measures continue to be carried out in cooperation with the National Security Service, the Prosecutor's Office, and the Police of Armenia to clarify all circumstances of participation and involvement in the criminal subculture group.
As previously reported, E.J., known by the nickname "Ero Tomsky," who holds a high position within the criminal hierarchy, has led the criminal subculture group he created. Through actions aimed at achieving the goals pursued by this group, he has given instructions to individuals who are members of the criminal subculture group, and by using his authority, he has made “decisions” regarding the movement of individuals that do not comply with the mandatory behavioral rules set by the state and recognized by him.
Based on a sufficient combination of evidence obtained during the preliminary investigation, public criminal prosecution had earlier been initiated against three members of the criminal subculture group under Article 324, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia, and they were subjected to detention as a preventive measure.
During the investigation, one of the group members, V.M., presented himself to the Investigative Committee, was arrested, and detention was selected as a preventive measure against him. A public criminal prosecution has also been initiated against the group's leader, E.J., known as "Ero Tomsky," who is located in the Kingdom of Spain, and detention has been selected as a preventive measure against him as well. Necessary measures are being taken to locate him. The investigation is ongoing.
