18-Day-Old Child Suffocated from Artificial Milk
Yesterday, in one of the houses in the community of Haghartsin, Dilijan municipality of Tavush province, the death of an 18-day-old child was due to suffocation from artificial milk.
According to information received by Hraparak, the mother had fed the child with artificial milk, then left the room. When she returned, she discovered that the child was not breathing. Our source indicates that the child might have died due to late detection by family members or negligence.
The Investigative Committee of Armenia reported to the media that at 18:25 on November 16, a call was received from the Dilijan Medical Center stating that they had been dispatched to a house in Haghartsin, where a child born in 2022 (boy) was found dead.
No signs of violence were found on the child upon external examination. A criminal case has been initiated in the Dilijan investigative department under the characteristics of murder, and circumstances are being clarified. The report and accompanying documents have been sent to the Dilijan investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
