Ministry of Defense to Announce Draft

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia is set to announce a draft. According to ArmLur.am, a draft will be declared for male medical specialists up to 35 years of age, who are registered in the reserve officer composition of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, from December 26, 2022, until February 24, 2023.

The duration of service will be established as 2 years. The number of personnel subject to conscription from the reserve officer composition will be limited to 10 medical specialists.
