VIDEO: "Serious changes must take place in our army" says Sargsyan

Officers who wake up late and have not undergone training with the troops must approach their service in a new way. This was stated by National Assembly member Hayk Sargsyan during a session of the Armenian Parliament.

“Serious changes must take place in our army. Our servicemen and officers who have not participated in physical training, who wake up late in the mornings, and who have not undergone training classes must review the conditions and nature of their service. Only as a result of this will they be able to pass the certification, after which salaries will increase,” Sargsyan emphasized.

It should be noted that the National Assembly of Armenia discussed in the first reading a legislative initiative presented by the government, which proposes to establish additional payments for contract servicemen and plans to compute these based on the circumstances of those servicemen passing certification.
