What is the Situation in Pemzashen

The horrific murders that took place in the village of Pemzashen, part of the consolidated community of Artik in Shirak Province, have shocked the Armenian society. Auroranews inquired with the head of the consolidated community, Ananik Voskanyan, about the current situation in Pemzashen and whether there is any tension.

According to Voskanyan, there is no tension in the village, and the police are ensuring that everything is normal.

When asked if the villagers are aware of any circulating theories as to why their fellow villagers took such a horrific step, he stated that the police are conducting an investigation and they do not know anything. “I can only say that most of the circulating hypotheses do not correspond to reality,” he mentioned.
