Civilian Injured by Azerbaijani Gunfire in Artsakh
On November 12, around 18:00, the Askeran district police received a report that shots had been fired from an Azerbaijani position towards civilians working in a field with a tractor in the administrative area of the village of Khramort, according to the Artsakh Republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Officers who arrived at the scene clarified that earlier on the same day, at around 16:30, local residents 27-year-old S. Vanyan and 45-year-old A. Hayrapetyan were conducting agricultural work in an area known as '100 hectares' using a 'T-150' tractor when shots had been fired at them from a nearby Azerbaijani military position.
The gunfire resulted in the shattering of the tractor's front and rear windshields. Fragments of the broken glass struck A. Hayrapetyan's face, causing bodily harm. He was subsequently transported to a republic hospital.
The materials have been handed over to the Russian peacekeeping forces, and the investigation is being conducted by the Askeran district police.
