Zelensky Comments on Maritime Losses in Primorsky Region
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented in Russian during his evening address on November 7 about the statements made by marines from the Primorsky region, who reported hundreds of casualties and injuries in Donetsk region.
At the beginning of his address, Zelensky stated in Ukrainian that hundreds of Russian soldiers are dying every day in the Donetsk region and that the area is "contaminated with the bodies of the invaders."
Zelensky emphasized that the Primorsky marines complained to their regional governor Oleg Kozhemyako about the "huge losses," to which he "predictably lied" in response, claiming that "the losses are far from being like that."
It is noteworthy that the Russian Ministry of Defense announced yesterday that the losses of the marines from the 155th brigade in the battles near Pavlovka in Donetsk region do not exceed one percent of combat capacity. The agency reported that seven percent of the marines from the 155th brigade were injured, with a significant portion of the soldiers already having returned to service. Thanks to the commanders' skilled actions, it was possible to avoid serious losses.
