Health Status of Citizen Who Attempted Self-Immolation Near Government Residence

The health condition of a citizen who attempted self-immolation at the intersection of Proshyan and Demirchyan streets in Yerevan on November 6 is assessed as severe. According to the Ministry of Health, he is currently at the National Burn Center.

As a reminder, on November 6 at 21:27, the National Crisis Management Center received information that a citizen had attempted self-immolation at the intersection of Proshyan and Demirchyan streets in Yerevan.

A firefighting team from the Yerevan Rescue Department and a psychologist from the Psychological Support Department were dispatched to the scene. Before rescuers arrived, the unidentified citizen had set himself on fire, and the flames were extinguished by the police. The citizen was then transported to a medical center in an unconscious state, where doctors assessed his condition as critical.
