VIDEO: How Activists Disrupted Private Jet Flights in Amsterdam
Climate activists have blocked the departure of private jets from Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport. This was reported by NL Times.
According to the publication, around 100 climate change activists "broke" onto the runway, effectively halting flights of private jets. Meanwhile, several protesters were detained.
NL Times notes that the activists are affiliated with Greenpeace and the Extinction Rebellion movement.
Earlier, it was reported that two environmental activists glued themselves to the frames of two paintings by Spanish painter Francisco Goya at the Prado National Museum in Madrid. The eco-activists adhered themselves to the frames of “Naked Maya” and “Clothed Maya.” It was mentioned that next to the wall, the phrase “+1.5 degrees” was written in black.
