VIDEO: Activist Women Glue Themselves to Picture Frames at Madrid's National Museum

Two eco-activists from the organization Futuro Vegetal glued themselves to the frames of paintings by Spanish artist Francisco Goya at the Prado National Museum in Madrid, Spain, according to a report from the movement on its social media.

“At the Prado Museum, we glued ourselves to Goya's 'Majas'. Last week, the UN acknowledged that it is impossible to keep the average temperature below the 1.5 degree limit set by the Paris Agreement compared to pre-industrial levels,” the organization stated on Twitter.

According to a video released by the organization, the two women glued their hands to Goya's paintings 'Naked Maja' and 'Clothed Maja', leaving a black paint message reading “+1.5 degrees” on the wall between the two paintings.
