Samvel Martirosyan Warns About New Scam on Social Media

Information security expert Samvel Martirosyan is warning about another scam circulating on social media. Specifically, a fake link is being shared in the name of the President of Armenia.

Martirosyan disclosed the information on his Facebook page, stating, “I would like to inform that a fake link is spreading in the name of the President regarding the provision of funds by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs for each newly born child in the family. If a person pays attention, they will see that the link is irrelevant. But people are often not attentive,” he wrote.

He added that the structure of the fake link suggests that it is the work of the same individuals who steal money from people’s cards through ‘list.am’.
