Photos: Please Do Not Use the Horse-Drawn Carriage Services, the Horse is Weak: Alert

Dear tourists and Shiraz residents, please refrain from using horse-drawn carriage services. Karine Davtyan has raised this issue on her Facebook page, alerting others about the health condition of a horse.

“This person shows no regard for the animals’ health and care, often exploiting them even when they have open wounds and are in poor physical condition. When you try to explain, instead of using their brains, they raise their voices. Losing hope in them, I appeal to everyone who can make a difference. I hope you will take action and prevent the exploitation of these animals. Dear Gyumri Municipality, Shirak Regional Governor Nazeli Baghdasaryan, DINGO Team, please be diligent and do not leave this issue unresolved,” she stated.

“Also, I want to note that we were implementing the ‘Walking Tour’ program through the Women’s Rights House NGO, and this was the second tour where we were supposed to present Gyumri and the stories of women’s rights through the historical cultural monuments of the city. However, all the guests witnessed this scene and saw the horse barely able to stand on its feet,” she wrote.
