Kherson Left Without Electricity
All neighborhoods of Kherson have been left without electricity. "There is no light throughout the entire city, yes. We are waiting for information on what happened," said a spokesperson for Khersonoblenergo to RIA Novosti.
According to a message on the Telegram channel of the Kherson regional administration, the power outage was caused by damage to a high-voltage electricity transmission line pole on the Berislav-Kakhovka highway.
On November 5, Kyrylo Stremusov, deputy head of the Kherson regional administration, announced an impending attack by Ukrainian forces. On November 6, he reported that a large amount of Ukrainian military equipment was accumulating in the direction of Kherson. Mr. Stremusov stated that the evacuation of people from Kherson to the left bank of the Dnipro River is ongoing.
